LARGEST second-hand anime shop: K BOOKS Akihabara

This time, let's talk about the shops at Radio Kaikan.
K BOOKS is one of the largest second-hand anime shops in Japan.

We often do live shopping at K BOOKS Ikebukuro in our Discord Server.
As you can see from the Ikebukuro shop, they have a wide range of products.

Location:
Located on the 3rd floor of Radio Kaikan, right in front of Akihabara Station. Upon ascending to the 3rd floor via escalator, the entire floor is occupied by K BOOKS, making it very spacious.
Operating hours are from 12:00 to 20:00 on weekdays and from 11:30 to 20:00 on weekends and holidays.

The entire floor of Radio Kaikan is dedicated to one store, making it exceptionally large. Shelves are organized by anime titles, making shopping convenient.

Number of Items: ★★★★★
A wide variety of genres and a large number of items are displayed. In addition to merchandise related to Shonen Jump titles, there are also goods from game titles, Vtubers, voice actor, CDs, DVDs, and more. Being a second-hand shop, the merchandise changes daily. There's bound to be something you've been wanting.

Crowdedness: ★★★☆☆
Although the shop is spacious, shelves are numerous, resulting in crowded areas, especially around popular shelves like those for Jujutsu Kaisen and Vtubers. It can be challenging to navigate through the aisles, especially with a backpack on.

Rare Items: ★★★★★
Many limited edition items no longer available for sale are offered here. Some items are cheaper compared to other second-hand shops. Special rare items are showcased in glass cases for easy identification.

Uniqueness: ★★☆☆☆
Being a typical second-hand shop, there isn't anything particularly unique about it. While it's recommended for those seeking desired or rare items, those looking for a unique shopping experience might find it somewhat lacking.

This metal plate commemorates the 2022 Jump Festa. It features a stylish engraving of Itadori and Sukuna on a gold-plated finish. K BOOKS sells it for 11,000 yen. However, on eBay, only one listing is available, priced at $93.88 (approximately 14,000 yen) plus $20 for shipping. Purchasing from K BOOKS saves you around 6,000 yen.
